Time of first tour/last tour?
On “Brown-Bag” Tuesdays, our abbreviated 20-minute lunch tour (first floor only) runs at 12:15 and 12:45. Thursdays through Sundays, 1-hour docent-led tours begin at noon, with the last tour at 3pm. More…
Is Advance purchase required for the tours?
Advance purchase is highly recommended for our regular 1-hour tour and our Brown Bag Tuesday tours. Space is limited and tours often sell out! For all other tours, advance purchase is required. More…
Are longer/more detailed tours available?
Yes. Extended tours such as Behind the Velvet Ropes, Fire & Light and Details & Joinery tours are regularly scheduled. Tickets for these tours can be booked online or by calling Zerve at (855) 249-1157.

Is the House wheelchair accessible?
There is limited first floor access for manual wheelchairs. We cannot accommodate electric wheel chairs.
May the grounds be freely explored?
Yes. We encourage our visitors to walk around the porches and in the surrounding landscape as much as they would like, as the guided tours mainly include the interior of the house.
Are there any discounts available on tours or merchandise for members of the National Trust or similar groups?
We offer discounts on our 1-hour tour to members of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, KUSC, and Pasadena Visitors and Convention Bureau ("Go Pasadena"), simply enter the promotional code provided by the member organization at ticketing.

Can we go inside the House without joining a tour?
Usually not. Entry to The Gamble House is by guided tour — except for special tour days, such as the day after Thanksgiving, and Museums of the Arroyo Day. Please check our tour calendar for additional dates.
Are there refreshments available for purchase?
Can the Gamble House be rented for events?
Yes. Selected locations inside and out are available for meetings, seminars, retreats, picnics, and special events. We do not rent for private parties and weddings. For information call (626) 793-3334, ext.12.
Is photography allowed?
Photography is not permitted during any tours. Interior photography requires a special permit and is by appointment only; call (626) 793-3334, ext.12. Exterior photography is encouraged and can be done at any time.
Do you sell tour gift certificates?
Yes. Gift certificates are available for all of our tours. Gift certificates can be purchased online or by calling Zerve at (855) 249-1157.
