Fire & Light looks at the Greene’s evolution of style; what led them to create some of the most celebrated art glass produced in an architectural setting; how the works were designed and produced; and the journey taken by the glass artists/craftsmen of the period.

Tour Guide: John Hamm

Contemporary glass artist and Gamble House docent John Hamm has immersed himself in the history of art glass and the Arts and Crafts movement. He has restored glass fixtures in historic structures and has created period-appropriate glass for many contemporary craftsman-style houses. Combining his artisan skills with years as a tour guide, Mr. Hamm created and personally conducts this craftsman tour that focuses on glass while also touching on each area of the house that is normally on tour.
