Regular Public Tours
- We are open for guided 1 hour tours Thursday–Sunday
from 12 noon to 3 p.m. (last tour begins at 3:00)
- Tickets go on sale on tour days in the Bookstore
at 10 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at
11:30 a.m. Sunday.
- Tour Fees:
- Adults: $10.
- Persons 65 or over, and full-time
students with ID: $7.
- Children under 12: free, and must be accompanied by an adult.
- 2 p.m. reservations and group tours: $12.50 (see below).
- Please arrive early, especially
on weekends, to avoid disappointment. A limited
number of tickets are sold each tour day.
- Except for the 2 p.m. tour
each day* there are no advance reservations.
- Flat shoes are required; slippers will be provided
for those in heels.
- Closed on major holidays: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

Tour the House at 2 p.m. with a reservation. Advance reservations may be made at least 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE for the 2 p.m. docent-led tour each tour day (Thursday-Sunday). Reservations must be prepaid by Visa or MasterCard. Cost: $10.00 plus $2.50 handling fee per person. Call (626) 793-3334, extension 13.
Group Tours
Groups of ten or more require reservations at
least one month in advance by calling The Gamble
House between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday. Group tour hours and fees vary from the
regular schedule of tours.

Our “Behind the Velvet Ropes tour” invites you to visit parts of the House not usually accessible. See exquisite craftsman details up close, with time to appreciate the ambience of the House. An ideal tour for visitors who want to see and learn more. $40.00 per person.
