The Gamble House will open the doors to its servants' hall and rooms for the first time in its history. Visitors to the House from August 1st until the 18th will be able to see and experience The Gamble House from a new perspective – that of the people who lived and worked there. New information has recently come to light about the Gamble family and its servants, allowing us to share more of the personal history of the House with our visitors. While the downstairs oak flooring is being refinished during this period (and therefore unavailable for touring), visitors will be able to tour areas of the House never before opened for our public tours, as well as getting the chance to see special pieces of Greene & Greene-designed furniture from the first-floor rooms that are usually too far behind the velvet ropes to see in detail. See the original laundry sinks and coal room in the basement, the careful ways the Greenes' designed the servants' spaces in the house, learn how the Gambles lived in, maintained and used the house, and more!

Note: This tour is available for a limited time and will temporarily be replacing our ever popular Brown Bag Tuesday tours as well as our regular public tours. There will be a maximum of 10 people permitted on each tour so hurry and reserve your tickets as these tours are expected to sell out early.

During August 1-18, 2013 Gamble House tours will not be wheelchair accessible.
